Glad to see this forum is back up and running. I am thinking of taking the wife and two sons down the Baja peninsula. Can someone answer a couple questions?

-Can I drive to La Paz in two days?
-Lodging recommendations in Loreto?

Hey T,

Welcome to the board. Driving with your family to La Paz is not doable. It's too far. A more reasonable, but long drive is to make Guerrero Negro or even a little farther San Ignacio (my choice).

As far as Loreto, I just stayed at the Oasis Hotel on the beachfront. There are other options too.

Have fun, take it easy on the driving and enjoy the scenery!
