Default Big problem with getting new vehicle permit in Baja.. help!

Hi I am currently stuck in Baja with two friends(we came down from canada in a canadian vehicle)because last time I drove through mexico I didnīt return my vehicle permit as I was planning on returning well withing the alloted time. However my truck got confiscated in Costa Rica(long story) and all the paperwork was taken from me. It was a few years ago and I had forgotten all about it. I have no birth certificate with me either to use as alternate ID. They say they canīt issue me with a new permit until the previous one is resolved and that it will take 4-6 months!!! I donīt have that amount of time. What can I do?? There must be a loophole somewhere? Has anyone had any experience with this?? I am talking to my embassy(british) but they say they are īlooking into itī .... please help!
I have a phone here aswell 1 6049321336.
The worst is I think I am blacklisted in the states aswell so re-entering might be a hassle.
