Question Help with visa rqmt ??

We will be celebrating my parent's 50th anniversary on the Royal Cairbbean cruise which will visit Ensenada Mx for only 8 hours. They are visiting here in San Diego from the Philipines. I've tried contacting the Mexican consulate for assistance....they don't answer their phones....does anyone know if they will need a visa or travel papers? We've gone on the cruise before and loved it and had no problems with travel documents but they are not u.s. citizens ...

Thumbs up

thanks for the advice but that was the first thing we asked and they said to check with the mexican consulate and they're not answering phones....I was trying to avoid the long lines and wait but -- I guess I'll have to go there personally and get a number

Default Maybe they'll need a visa

I don't know if cruise ship passenger rules are different than the rules for other tourists visiting Mexico, but I just looked in the Mexican immigration department website and see that residents/citizens of the Philipines are required to apply for a visa before entering Mexico.

Check this website for more information:

Most of Mexican consulate does not answer their phone or E-mail here in US. I don't know why may be too busy.

But your parent should apply for visa from Philipine, here is infor.
