Dreams Los Cabos

I should start off by stating that my wife and I are not big fans of "all-inclusive" resorts. Imagine our surprise when we spent five days in June at Dreams Los Cabos (located in the tourist corridor between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose de los Cabos) and enjoyed every minute of it. It didn't hurt that the weather was ideal for loafing - high nineties and non-stop sunshine - and that the alcohol was plentiful and easily accessible. The food was only so-so: our favorite meal was breakfast, when we could have a made-to-order omelette at <i>El Patio</i> with a perfect view of the Sea of Cortes. On the other hand we are fairly adventurous eaters, so our standards are admittedly quite high. The staff was always courteous and helpful, the grounds immaculate, and the overall vibe festive but relaxed. In a perfect world, we'd go somewhere a little bit more secluded and sleepy, but we were more than satisfied with our stay.
