Aussiemum has a spectacular aura about
Default Inalambrica Sports Complex

In October I will travel to Merida for an International Sports Tournament. I have been trying to get an idea of the exact distance from Paseo de Montejo to the Olympic Sports Complex, without any luck. This complex is also called Wireless Sports Complex or Olympic Sports complex Inalambrica. The address I have is 45 Street S/N x90,Col. This address comes from the organisers website, unfortunately it seems a little confusing to me. Can anyone help with this information?

Default Translation?

"45 Street S/N x90,Col" is probably a partial translation from something like
Calle sin nombre #45 por 90, Colonia .......... Which seems a bit incomplete and somewhat confusing.
However, it means that it is located at #45 on a street without a name, possibly nearby or through #90 in an unspecified colonia, or neighborhood.

The stadium should show on a map.

Well that sounds pretty clear to me - who would have a problem finding someplace with those clear directions???

Just kidding RV - I came up with the same translation as you did which is why I asked for the website to see if we could come up with any more info to help her...

Default Another clue

I have a small inset map of Merida and it seems that many streets and roads are numbered. Therefore, I would look for Calle S/N by C. 90 if you can pull up a more detailed map.
There is a sports complex in the northeast part of the city, but I don't know if it is the one in question.

RV - you're awesome...

One of the reasons I so enjoy this board. So are you going to post the map or don't you have it in digital?

Default No tengo capacidad.

I can't do that, but it is in the Guia Roji Gran Atlas. I suspect that Merida may have a website with a city map; I haven't looked yet.

Thanks for your interest. The website address is www.idey.gob.mx and the address is listed under facilities. I had tried 'google' to find maps which might help with the actual location, so far no luck. I have also emailed the organisers, to no avail. I emailed the Hyatt Merida, they replied after sometime, all they said was it was about 20 minutes by car to the venue. I really hope you guys can help. The way streets are named over there seems confusing anyway, but I also felt this was incomplete. I look forward to your help.
