Hi all,,
I'm new in this site,, I really have a problem, My parents, sisters and I want to travel to Guadalajara, from San Francisco. The plan is to drive over, but we don't have a car that's big enough, now my problem is that my fiance has an explorer that could fit all of us, but he cannot come along, so we are not sure if we will be allowed to drive all the way through with a car that's not under our name,, any advice? will we be allowed? or what can we do? Please help. |

Yes, you can. You will need a notarized letter of permission from the owner. You should have a copy of the title attached to the letter. Be sure his US insurance policy allows you to drive his car. And, of course, be sure to buy Mexican insurance.
