Wondering if anyone has any feedback regarding car or RV travel in the San Miguel, Puerto Vallarta area. Thinking about going this December and would appreciate any info.

Feedback? Well, thousands do it; some use maps by Guia Roji and others just follow the big green signs to their next destination. Toll roads are expensive but include speed, extra insurance and wider roads as a bonus. Free roads are free but will require that you get used to Mexican 'rules of the road' rather quickly. Watch for those topes!

San Miguel itself is more manageable with a car than an RV but we have friends who bring theirs every year. There are several places to hook up. In fact, some friends lived in their RV while their house was being built.
Just pack up and come. If you need anything else specific. Just email. Mexican R and B |
