Looking at the member list, I see absolutely everybody, minus the moderator, is a Junior member! What does this mean? How can one get promoted to being a Senior member? I want epaulets, perhaps a silver or gold cluster.
Anyway, being a Junior in Mexico has a very negative connotation. |

No, Bear, you lack the credentials. Plus, I want that silver or gold cluster. How can you promote me when I see you are a Junior too. Donīt make no sense. Anyway, I donīt want to be a Senior. That sounds old, like I drool. I want to be a colonel. That sounds sharp.
What kind of mexonline world is this when absolutely everybody is a Junior, except the boss? No, we need levels, like society in general. People need to know where they stand. And Iīm too old to be a Junior. Plus, as I said, being a Junior in Mexico is disreputable. Where is the moderator anyway? Probably at the yacht basin there in San Diego, counting his internet cash. I will give him credit for one thing: This forum looks better than before. I sure hope I earn a good reputation, donīt you? |

Indeed. Jr? I have been on a lot longer than junior. I am older, I don't drool, I drink Tecate & Jose Quervo. I am Don Vicente among my vecinos. I am Godfather to Jaun Carlos. I am MAN.

Greetings Don Vicente
, As we're all getting used to the new Message Board, let it be known that everyone who signs up here starts out as a Junior member. The more messages you post, and the better feedback you get from other members, the higher your ongoing score and ranking - mighty fancy ain't it. I'll take a look at some of these other options, and probably I'll be able to come up with my own names for the different member levels, time permitting - keep in mind running MEXonline.com (the actual revenue generating part of the equation) takes up the better part of the day. If someone has a good name for the starter level, I'll consider it - it would have to make sense to everyone. I know many have been with us for years and years, but this is all new. These software folks did in fact come up with a way to get people to post more messages, I hope. So many gadgets, so little time.

Don Vicente? Whoīs that?
Nah, I was just stirring the pot. Junior is fine. However, are you aware, Seņor Rolfster, of the negative connotation of being called a Junior in Mexico? I doubt, however, that many of us here are rich, spoiled, young men and women. I see there are far fewer categories on the forum now. Thatīs good. Don Palomares |

way back when, before Rolf changed the board several years ago. Trying to log on today, NO RECORD of me, so I had to re-register, and now am a junior member. Anyone seen or heard from Greg Schafer? He used to post rather frequently, as did I.
