Akumal & The Mayan Riviera
Hey all. My wife & I are making our first trip to Mexico October 8th-15th. We've been to the Dominican Republic, Boca Chica, Juan Dolio, Puerto Plate & Punta Cana, 6 times since 2000. We've chosen the Akumal Beach Resort and have read many good things about it. Anyone living in that area, or in general, that could give us tips, suggestions, to maximize our enjoyment would be most appreciated.

WOW......yes that is a great area for small towns and diving, snorkling.
Try to get to Paamul not for from Akumal. Of course Playa Del Carmen is a great spot, forget Cancun. Have fun!!! Glenn
