Question Exiting MX from different border crossing

We are Canadians that will be crossing the border into Mexico at Loredo next month with an RV and will be wintering in Mexico. But we plan to head up the west coast to British Coumbia in the spring and don't really want to go all the way back to Texas. Is it possible to exit Mexico at a different border crossing?

It is no problem to take your RV out a different crossing. I always go in through Nogales and out through Sonoyta. Nogales is very busy and sometimes the lines are long. Sonoyta is quiet except on weekends.

Be sure to to turn in the Mexican Temporary vehicle import sticker before you cross the border back into the US.

Default get receipt

As mentioned before, there is no problem leaving by a different point. But, not only must you turn in the temporary permit for your vehicle, but be sure to get a receipt to prove you have done this. You may need this receipt next time you enter Mexico.
