Comes with a Mexican phone number (San Miguel de Allende area - works everywhere in Mexico). Convenient, you can give out your Mexican number before you leave! We found it was much cheaper to call back to Canada or the US with this rather than roaming with an existing US or Canadian cell phone. We found local calls within Mexico cost $.10-.30 per minute, while calls back to the US or Canada cost $.69-1.50 per minute. Cell phones in Mexico are expensive, but this proved much cheaper than roaming with our US T-Mobile phone.
