Hello! My husband, myself, & 2 of our friends will be going to Club Santiago in a few weeks and we heard rumors that we will not be able to take home our beloved Kinder Eggs. Is this true or not? We love going to Santiago and have been going on and off for over 20 years (my parents own a home in the club). Thanks for all of your help and information. Kathi & Bob Albert

. Think of a Cadbury egg, but instead of the creamy center, a small (and sometimes sharp) toy inside. Kathi - I have never heard of this. You can actually buy them in the US at a number of international food stores (Cost Plus World Market sells them in the Southeast US). If you get a larger package of them, they are sealed in a plastic egg-carton looking thing, which should calm the nerves of any customs official. Find a Cost Plus near you: http://www.worldmarket.com/custserv/store_locator.jsp |
