Does anyone know if Castillo's RV park has a kennel close by for train travelers to the Copper Canyon or can you take a little dog on the train or in a hotel in the canyon?

I'm not even sure that park is still open. There was no sign of it when I was through there in 2001. Unless you talked to someome that was there recently, I wouldn't count on it.
You might check out... RV Park de El Fuerte According to their website, they have pet care while you are gone. I don't know if the other El Fuerte RV park, Hotel Bugambilias, takes care of pets or not. If you don't already have it, you should buy "Traveler's Guide to Mexican Camping" by Mike and Terri Church. They have detailed information for almost all RV campgrounds in Mexico. www.rollinghomes.com Ken |

Thanks to those who responded. We are there now, and el Fuerte RV Park does watch pets for people while they take the train tour of Copper Canyon. We leave in the morning, and it looks to be a good adventure.
Thanks again. Recuerdos, John & Sue |
