Mexico City Airport: Use or Avoid

Many comments are posted on forums concerning the Mexico City Airport. We were hesitant to use the airport after hearing of difficulties finding your way around. Some of the best rates may be obtained by using this airport. We had no problem navigating Terminal One and Terminal Two.

We used bus service from Toluca and were deposited right at the terminal entrance for a cost of 100 pesos. The bus provided a movie and refreshments.
Many auto executives were using this bus service to visit the auto makers in Toluca.

A very good fast restaurant sits at the bus stop for Terminal Two providing fast and great food.

Immigration was extremely fast and airline employees we encountered were very helpful. Don't hesitate to try this experience. It is not as intimidating as some might think. Travel problems may be encountered on any trip but our experience was first class at the Mexico City Airport. Sign up for Aeromexico's frequent flyer program, they provide great service at their lounge in Terminal 2.

Our next trip into the city will be in October to the American Embassy.
