Hi Everyone!
Thanks to the people that responded to our last post. We have decided to travel to the Mayan Riviera from Oct. 30 to Nov. 14. We have a couple of questions to ask everyone though. What do you suggest we take in during Día de los Muertos? We fly into Cancun on Oct 30 and don't want to be there for the festivities. We would like to rent a car for the 2 weeks that we are there and travel around the Yucatan peninsula visiting ruins, cenotes etc. Any suggestions on who to rent a car from (reputable and cheap)? Any assistance is much appreciated! Gracias, Alicia & Alex |

In dia de Muertos you can go to merida, 4 hours from cancun, or Valladolid, 2 and a half hours from cancun. Rent a car is the best option if you want to move around the yucatan peninsula. About Ruins you must go to tulum, chichen itzá, Ek Balam and, if its possible, to Uxmal, three hours southwest from Merida.
I dont know the cheapeast way to rent a car, but you can find some sales in the aiport. good vacations. www.delphinusworld.com |
