Exclamation Help, please!!

My wife and I are traveling to Puerto Vallarta for one week in about a week. We had planned on taking our laptop computer, but I just read something about not being able to fly in with more than $300 worth of stuff. Is this true? Do I need special permission to bring a laptop? Has anyone ever brought one?

Thank you!!

Default No worries

Take it. I take my lap top all over the world and all over Mexico. If it is new and in the box unopened then you will have a problem. Customs thinks you are going to sell it. Take it and have a great vacation!
