bringing photo equipment to Mexico

Hello, I am a pro photographer and in the past got a special equipment list attached to my visa in order to bring in photo equipment (like a carnet). Restrictions seem to ease up so I stopped doing this step since it was a bit expensive. I noticed on my last trip that there was a new box on the custom form specifically about professional equipment; I checked tourist and luckily got the green light. Am about to return and wonder if anyone has had experience lately?
