We just returned from a trip to Puerto Penasco were we experience for the first time, a connection that carried too high a voltage. After not getting electrical into our unit, we began investigating. We found the wiring at the site to be correct, but after using a meter we found it to be high. One one line of the connection is was 137 volts, the other was 136. We found out that our power management system, blocks anything that is 132 volts or higher. Has anyone experienced a similar phenomenon? Is there a fix for the problem? any specifics would help as I am headed to Mazatlan in January and don't want to be caught unprepared. Thanks to all! Larry

Can you bypass the device that is shutting off the power? I don't think 135 VAC will do any harm.

Most RV EMS systems have some sort of adjustment for the max. voltage. That high voltage is common in Mexico. The norm is 130 to 135.
