Default Thailand citizen w/ US permanent address going on cruise

Hi. I am a US citizen and I am taking my girlfriend on a cruise that has stops in Cozumel and Belize City. She is a Thai citizen, and has been living in the US for 4 years. She has a visa, passport and a permanent address in US. Will she be ok to get into these two cities we are porting in? I can not seem to find the right answer. It seems there may only be one problem, her passport expires in Jan of next year. I have seen something about a passport needing to have 6 months of validility. Is this true? Or will she be ok?

Thanks for any help.

Chris

Default Thai citizen touring Mexico

I believe your girlfriend will not have any problem disembarking in Cozumel with her Thai passport, nor should she have problems entering the US with her valid visa and passport. The official answer regarding tourists in Mexico can be found at the Mexican immigration site - http://www.inm.gob.mx/index.php?page...STA_O_TRANSITO. They must have recently ditched the English versions so hope you have someone who can translate.

Suggest you also contact the cruise line who probably can help too.
