looking for a good honeymoon destination that doesn't cost much

Hi I love Mexico and its people, I am from Canada and looking into going there for a late honeymoon vacation..
I would like to know from your point of view what is the best place and a good deal for my buck to vacation in mexico right now as my 1st anniversary is in october 9th.

Is cancun cheap now since the emily went through?

Cancun right on the beach is very cheap and nice, we stayed there many times. Spirt airline is having a good special right now.
