Default Baja travel in October

I was just wondering about traveling in Baja California in October. We are trying to plan a trip this year to San Diego (coming from Canada) and then cross at TJ. From there I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of where to go, what to see and how to get there. I have also heard that it could possibly be hurricane season (but some sources say it is over in Sept). I was wondering if bussing it through Baja was recommended (or train, etc) - how long it would take by bus to get to BCS - and we are not rich - just want some cultural experience and to get away.* Also if there is a train from TJ to Los Mochis - and if so what the fares are like? I know this is a lot to inquire about but I appreciate any and all input, advice or suggestions.

I just wanted to say thanks for your reply and I remember someone asking about it on the old board but couldn't recall an answer. I will try to find out some information on the bus service (time & rates) and the ferry service (but I have only found it in spanish and unfortunately I only have very basic so far). Thanks for your time.

Wink Baja travel in Baja

We Have Traveledall The Way Down To La Paz Bcs. The Last Time Was In 2003. I Am 84 And My Husband Is 87. We Had No Trouble At All . We Will Not Do It Again Because We Could Into Get Health Problems. I Think The Hurricanesare Almost Over. If You Are Going To Do It Stop At Guerreo Negro And Visit The Salt Works,it Is Very Interesting.
The Changes Of Topagraphy As You Drive Have Very Strange And Wonderful Changes As You Drive Along The Way. Blue Palms And Ciros Can Be Seen Only In This Part Of The World. Take Plenty Of Water And Don't Drive At Night. Large Trucks And Cows Cause Danger.
