Can anyone explain my options when I arrive at the GDL Primera Plus terminal in GDL and want to bus or taxi to Ajijic? Cost and time of options if you have them please?
Thanks

I have never taken a bus from GDL to Ajijic, but the taxi ride is about 25 minutes and costs about $20 (USD) - enjoy! ANDREA

As far as I know the busses dont go from the new bus terminal but they go from the old one so you have to find your way to the old bus terminal.

There are TWO bus stations in Guadalajara, one new and one old. Only the old bus station has the big red bus to Ajijic for about 3.00, take about an hour, tho it is only 25 miles or so. Taxi has been about $25.00 from the airport but I don't know how much from the new bus station. There ARE taxies and buses to the old bus station. We have been to Ajijic about ten times, where are you staying.?

Oh! Is Ajijic really nice? I have never been to Ajijic and would you mind if I ask some info about it? Thanks.

Default I made that trip

a month ago. Well, actually past Ajijic, to the mountains. From the airport, get a taxi, 2oo pesos. Go to the Camionera Nueva, (new bus station). Tell him, edificio dos, building #2. In and to the left is the counter for Mazamitla, get your ticket there, around 50 pesos, i think. The bus is outside all the way to the left. They leave regularly. Tell the driver to let you know when you get to Jocotepec. Others will be getting off there, I'm sure. Catch a cab to Ajijic, 120 pesos.
I know this sounds like a lot of hassle, but it's a fun ride, and you can enjoy the food vendors and the serenade on the way!
