Default On the topic of Frequently asked Questions.

I was going to suggest something that is done on another website, they call them stickies it is information that People have questions about all of the time For example about tourist visas or bringing in cars Fm3's or 2's etc.
maybe you could have a section that has the correct info and update it when or if laws change.
IMHO it would help People by giving them the correct info on topics that seem to come up at least once a week. As opposed to them being misinformed or partially informed.

Another would be on Mole its History is it animal or vegetable etc.

Default FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Good point Carol and I agree with you.

In fact, the entire idea behind creating MEXonline.com was to also provide a resource for information for all sorts of topics. However people do need to avail themselves to that information by looking for it.

Information on visas, consulates, pets, medication ... is available on the website, and is updated periodically - it should be done more often but there is just too much information on the site to keep it totally up to date all of the time.

If anyone would like to contribute information on a particular topic that is not already covered, I would be happy to post of list of needed information, someone could pick a particular topic and provide some accurate information, sort of like a wiki - which is a site where the content is provide by the members of that site - wikipedia is the prime example of that.

Creating an article does take a lot of effort, so it's always difficult to get an idea of what kind of response there would be to such a request. But if the response is good we could move forward with the project.

Also, at some point I will look to customize the site by provide a navigation bar to content on MEXonline.com, so people can see some of the resources we do have on requested questions.

Let me know what you think.

Thumbs up

Fantastic idea,Cancuncarol.
There was so much info that I printed off from the site, pre-turkish turkey attack. It would be of great benefit to be able to access info in a simpler way rather than reading through a thread several times. Anything I can do to help, let me know.
Way to go, girlie!
