I was wondering if anyone knew the laws on traveling to mexico from Italy. I have a visa. Is there anything else required. I have been deported to Italy from the U.S. in 2003. Will I have trouble getting into Mexico. I was denied entry in Canada because I was a convicted felon. Are there any stipulations in Mexico for this reason or do you just need your visa?

If you are a convicted felon, you will probably be turned away. Check with the Mexican Consulate or Embassy in Italy. I am pretty sure that you had better get used to living in Italy.

Thanks for your reply. I will call the Mexican consulate before I get a ticket and much disappointment.
